An Egyptian contract-furniture manufacturer, lean by design.

Woodminded makes furniture for real estate developers, hotels and private homes. We pair more than thirty years of industrial making with engineering-led planning and production.

Our model is lean by design: a central hub for core manufacturing and quality assurance, working with vetted partners, so every project can scale without losing control of the standard.

02  Our story

Ring by ring.

  1. Retail

    We began by selling classic ready-made furniture, and learned what clients live with every day.

  2. Workshop

    We opened a small workshop and started making our own pieces.

  3. Factory

    The workshop grew into a factory of more than 500 people, furnishing hotels, towers and government halls, and exporting to neighbouring markets.

  4. Pause

    We paused deliberately to study the market and retool around new technology.

  5. Woodminded

    We returned as Woodminded: a lean hub with vetted partners, led by a team that thinks in wood and in systems.
